Straight answers about your roof, from people who live here

We get on the roof, take pictures, and tell you what’s actually going on up there. Including when the answer is that it’s fine.

Why this company exists

Seth got tired of the same story

A homeowner would call him after signing with a big outfit, holding a contract they didn’t understand, for work that wasn’t what they thought they were buying. Sometimes the roof didn’t even need replacing.

So he started Ovation Roofing ten years ago with a simple rule. Explain it. Show the pictures. Let the homeowner decide with the same information the roofer has. That’s not a marketing angle, it’s genuinely how the business runs, and it’s why we’ll tell you when your roof has years left in it.

Family owned, BBB accredited, based in Haslet, TX rather than following storms into town. Read more about how we work.

Insurance claims

Denied on the first pass is not the end

Most people file a roof claim once in their life. The adjuster does it every day. That gap is where homeowners lose, and documentation is what closes it.

Step 1

Damage

Hail bruises the mat under the granules. It often does not leak yet, which is why people miss it.

Step 2

Documentation

We photograph the strikes with a scale reference and count density per square. That package is what an adjuster needs.

Step 3

Reinspection

Denied on the first pass does not mean no. Kolt went back up with a proper photo set and they opened another claim.

Straight talk

The part most homeowners get wrong

Your deductible is your responsibility. In Texas it’s illegal for a contractor to waive, absorb or rebate it, and any roofer who offers to is telling you exactly what kind of company they are. We’ll never make that offer.

We’ll also tell you honestly whether your damage is likely to clear your deductible before you file, because a claim that doesn’t is a claim not worth making. Here’s how claims actually work.

We won’t touch your deductible

Anyone who offers to is committing insurance fraud and pulling you into it. Walk away from that offer.

File only when it’s worth filing

If there’s no real damage, filing accomplishes nothing and puts a claim on your record. We look first and tell you straight.

What people say

Seth and Kolt get named by the people they worked for

We had a great experience with Seth and his team at Ovation Roofing. They were professional, honest, and very easy to work with throughout the entire process. Communication was clear, the work was done on schedule, and the quality of the roof looks fantastic. It’s refreshing to work with a company that does what they say they’ll do. I would absolutely recommend Ovation Roofing to anyone needing roofing work.

Roof replacement customer

Seth came out and checked on our roof and was super kind, quick and efficient. He was very knowledgeable and thorough with explaining exactly what we needed to do and what the process would look like. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them and made sure I understood the process. I had another quote from a different company and this was a completely different experience.

Homeowner, DFW

Kolt handled everything for me. I got denied the first time so he took lots of pictures and they opened another claim. They did the work beautifully! Highly recommend this company!

Questions

What people ask us

How do I know if my roof actually has hail damage?

Usually you can’t tell from the ground. Hail fractures the mat under the granules and that bruise may not leak for a year or more. The visible hints are dented gutters, downspouts, vents and window screens. If your neighborhood took a storm, get someone on the roof to look. We don’t charge for that.

Are you going to try to sell me a roof I do not need?

No. That is the reason Seth started this company. If your roof has five more years in it we’ll tell you, show you the pictures, and you can call us when it’s genuinely time.

Do you handle the insurance company for me?

We document the damage properly, meet your adjuster on the roof, and provide the photo set and scope. We have had denied claims reopened and approved that way. See roof insurance claims. We’re roofers, not public adjusters, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

Can you pay my deductible for me?

No, and nobody legally can in Texas. A contractor offering to absorb or rebate your deductible is committing fraud and involving you in it. If someone makes that offer, that tells you what kind of company they are.

How long have you been doing this?

Ten years, family owned, based in Haslet. We’re not a storm chasing outfit that follows weather into town and leaves after the season.

What areas do you cover?

Roughly a forty mile radius from Haslet, which covers most of Tarrant, Denton, Parker and Wise County plus parts of Johnson, Dallas and Collin. See all service areas.
